i liked how at everton away he gave the city fans a wave and clapped us as he came on the pitch and again when he left the pitch. A few players should take note.

Thrilled having him in the player-coach role given we still have loads of senior squad spaces left. Then as far as I am concerned he can have a job for life in the City setup however that develops and depending on where and what he wants to do.

Probably best to check with everton first, make sure it’s ok with them before we offer an extension

If another club offers him a two year contract he will leave otherwise we will offer him another year and I think he will sign it.

For me if he wants to keep playing we let him go, if he wants to join the coaching staff sign him up. I do think we need someone younger who can be more competitive with Rodri in this position.
