Tolmie, can you see us buying someone who will make us and pretty much the entire footballing community go, 'wow!'? Not talking about Neymar, as this is Barca we are competing with here and I can only see one winner when we're talking about us v them for a world star Brazilian, and of course there's no shame in missing out on a player to Barca.

We've had a bloody good go already, much to Barca's annoyance. Not sure even Txiki can balance it back in our favour.

Is Reus realistic? Given that Dortmund have lost Goetze and likely to lose Lewandowski? They are Champions League finalists but the way people are talking they won't have many of the current team left when the next season starts

A little concerned he predominantly drives through the right side of midfield, same as Yaya, and it is Barry's side which needs replacing. This is where I see our new left winger being someone who can run all day, score goals and also not be scared to stick his foot in.
Transfermarket reckons he's a double footer - so maybe Yaya won't be tripping him up after all

he didn't pass the 'YouTube' criteria, couldn't find any compilation vids about him except few goals!

Brazilians are like Duracell bunnies, so his age won't be a factor whatsoever.

This guy is fecking brilliant and does all the right stuff.

Duracell Batteries (apart from Maicon)

If he plays right side - does that mean Milner maybe moving into the middle??

Why are we buying thsi great player. Marvin was telling me and others that Garcia would be a top player and one of our best players :/

Buzzing that we're pushing this through. Chelsea were bang in for him and I mean bollock deep. Apperently they are going to go for one of Khedira, Fellaini or Paulinho and that's 100% (so I'm told), we'll see in the summer.

This guy is a few levels aabove Barry and Garcia and I actually wonder if the performances of Barry dropped when he knew this lad was signing. His comment of 'theres been changes upstairs and we will have to see what happens' (to paraphrase) is starting to make me question things now. I wonder if his heads dropped seeing team-mates signing new deals and he's not been offered and he knows this lads been signed up. I reckon he will be offered a 3 year deal on 70k or something a week. I'd rather pay him it than Garcia I know that much.

As for Tolmies left winger comment, I would not put it past the club to finally get a Barca player. Pedro or most likely Sanchez?

Pedro is an excellent player I'd love us to get him

I wouldn't say Barry's performances have dipped, still very consistent and professional, i would look at it differently that perhaps he is playing for an extended contract

Any word on Bale?

Much as I would love it, mate, I think Madrid have the boy completely boxed off at present.

I have been told to expect a major surprise from left field, but would wager that would be more akin to a Neymar or Reus, than Bale.

Can't see Neymar or Reus coming be more like Isco

Turns 28 in a few days, how many years do you reckon he has in him at the top level?
He's been in a Russian deep freezer for 5 years - thaw him out properly and we'll have a 23 year old

He's not pack of Wall's Sausages, my man!

How many of them are there about though Pidge. Messi, Neymar and Ronaldo are the worlds poster boys and the "wow" buys. Iniesta too. But not realistic. Bale is possibly one that 99% would be ecstatic about, Cavani another but are they "wow"? They are close I suppose. After that Ibra would devide opinion, Falcao possibly.

Theres probably less than 5 playes that could be acheiveable (Not Messi etc) that would really be in that bracket
