Why do Italy have the scoop on our transfers but the uk seems clueless?

According to LC, Di Marzio calls these things with unerring accuracy. Was first to the Pep to Bayern story despite it being a Spanish (well, Catalan, but let's leave that for now) manager going to a German club. Fingers in a lot of pies with agents etc.

Wish people would give their honest judgment of players on here without being biased towards players we are linked with

Anyone know if this guy is better than Willian?

Completely different types of player, but I'd rather Fernandinho in our side than Willian at this point. Just what we need to upgrade the midfield, and that's from someone with major man love for Barry.
Oh, my bad. But this guy is decent? Haven't really seen much of him.

Think a more cultured De Jong, who can actually contribute significantly going forward.

He said he would play for a club inn Manchester in January. Perhaps, Txiki and co. decided to wait to officially sign him? I wouldn't be surprised if he has already agreed a contract.

Ah that explains it.

After Fernandinho's quotes in January it seems as though he knew the deal was done. Maybe allowing him to stay til the end of the season was a nice gesture from us.

A poor man's Elano

Er, no. Elano could barely last 60 minutes before looking like he was about have a heart attack.
I thought Elano was always subbed off after 80 minutes so he could have his own personal ovation after picking up another MoM?

Really? The one thing that truly pissed me off about Sven's reign was the complete and utter lack of fitness, our entire team looked knackered after 60 minutes and were dead on their feet by 70. Elano, whilst undoubtedly a good footballer didn't have any discipline.

Wonder who's on the way out to make way for him? If it was a done-deal in Jan it doesn't make sense that he's replacing Garcia.

I do despair with some of you so called "armchair pundits" when a name crops up,about to sign for us.The number of times I read on this forum "not good enough, poors mans abc, waste of money, blah blah blah"
For fucks sake let our Club decide that any player is good enough before passing not just an opinion but probably no more than a lukewarm idea as to their actual talent !!
Thats assuming this player has signed.

More of much needed addition than a replacement.
