A change in club might be what he needs. The pressure of playing for Real Madrid gets to some players, whereas here it is a different matter, (at the moment). And unless someone can come on here who is a season ticket holder at the Bernard Bower, and goes to away matches too, i'm inclined to give him a chance based on Mancini's far superior knowledge than ours. I watch Spanish football on tele too, but I could, and would not, ever pass judgement on a player based on them being on tele once every 3 weeks or so. No one could give a good scouting report on him as he hasn't featured much lately,safe to say his replacement at Boca,Banega is a much better player than him ATM

Probably did! Its bad enough when you get opinions of players who play over here, but who have never really been seen by that person with that opinion, and its all just based on general opinions of others, but when people who clearly have never seen Gago play each game say he's shit, well that is pretty annoying. No opinions should be cast unless the person with that opinion has seen the player play week in, week out, and although Madrid are on tele every now and then, they're not on enough for people to have a cast-iron opinion of the player. I hope this one goes through and he plays out of his skin.

Thats about £12m then? Looks like we're testing them. Me, i'd go in with £15m, (around EURO 18) and see about that, rising up to a max of £20m. I think we'll pull 3 deals off today, this one and the Meriga/Johnson deals.
