Valdano Gago expressed his desire to leave Real Madrid
• The midfielder and his agent are meeting with the managing director of Real Madrid at the Bernabeu • The Manchester City is the club most interested in signing • The white club opposes the departure of Argentine midfielder

Fernando Gago and Marcelo Lombilla, representative of Argentine football, are meeting in the offices of the Santiago Bernabeu to Jorge Valdano to negotiate his exit from Real Madrid.

The midfielder is not comfortable in the white team and who does not have the continuity that he would like. It is also conscious of the need that has to be playing for Argentina in the World Cup in South Africa. However, Real Madrid is still not the work of releasing Gago, with an important offer from Manchester City, which as daily Marca reported on Saturday is willing to pay 15 million euros for his transfer.

The time-the market closes next Sunday, and refusal to address the institution's sports Concha Espina play against Gago, who along with his agent trying to convince Valdano that Real Madrid give budge and change his mind, something that seems unlikely if one takes into account low counts with Manuel Pellegrini-Pepe, Mahamadou Diarra, and Gonzalo Higuain and Ruud van Nistelrooy exit, the template that make it fall short for face two top-level competitions such as Champions League and Liga.

Gago joins Valdano to force him out
Real, with Diarra injured, will not let you leave unless there is an offer from a club over 20 million.

Jorge Valdano and Fernando Gago are gathered now in the Santiago Bernabeu Stadium to decide the future of the player. Gago try to convince the general manager of Real Madrid to let him leave the club in the winter market.

The Argentine will invoke their personal situation to try to force him out. As published AS, his personal environment has suffered anxiety and sleep disorders for not playing. Furthermore, their participation in the World Cup in South Africa is in danger.

The club's attitude is clear. With Diarra injured over there more than him to Lass and Xabi Alonso in the event of injury or punishment, and only if presented with an offer over 20 million allowed to leave.

Basically, they met and said he cant go. They will however keep in contact in the coming days so see if anything develops. Real need him as squad cover, but would be willing to sell for 20mil.
