You think I'm taking this thread too seriously ?

Do you think any other posters are taking the thread too seriously as well ?

You are correct of course and nobody should take this thread too seriously. It isn't 'life or death' or cancer. If we don't get Fernando we will still go on. The project is unstoppable. We are 'the borg'.

Expressing an opinion one way or the other shouldn't give rise to somebody being subjected to foul-mouthed abuse and being accused of being a 'rag' (which somehow seems worse) do you agree ?

Those who do think it worthy of foul-mouthed abuse and accusations of 'ragism' are the ones who will look like proper clowns and deservedly so, don't you agree ?
Spend a few months in the cellar, it'll toughen you up, I get called a **** at least 10 times a day and that's when I'm not posting. Just chill what will be will be. God I can feel a song coming on.

And 10 times a day is pretty lenient for our Andy ;)
It's like telling your Dr how much you drink, estimate downwards:)

Lots of rumours on twitter that Garcia has been told he can leave as deal for Fernando looks close.....rumours started when Garcia sent this message a short while ago.......don't know if any of this is true.....

Javi Garcia ‏@javigarcia06 40m
Thanks to all of you.... #manchestercity

why let Garcia leave, then we are effectively in the same position as we were last season, with just 3 reliable CMs.

Just for clarification are you including Garcia in that 3 or not
he did decent enough toward the back end of last season. Better than no one.
