That‘s a real hammer blow. Absolutely pissing it at 3-0, on the way to breaking up the run of shit results. And to throw it away like that is just staggering. Another abject surrender.
Fucking awful mistakes by Gvardiol and Ederson. And shocking game management by Pep - way too early for those subs. A midfield three of McAtee, Nunes and De Bruyne (in his present condition) is woeful - no surprise that we gave up control immediately. And Akanji hasn‘t got anything near enough about him to guide a young kid through to the end of the game.
The weekend could get seriously ugly - they‘re obviously miles better than us at the moment, and frankly we don‘t look like we‘ve got the balls to dig in and battle.

You have to be joking?

He is a huge part of the problem - he sees so much of the ball but doesnt use it well...he cant tackle, head a ball, make a creative pass, recover when the play goes past him...yes he is good in tight spaces but he doesnt have a clue what to do once he gets into space.

This is the thing for me.

Pep never makes subs when we are losing..

Almost like " you got yourselves into this shit get yourselves out of it.". Stubborn.

Then we go 3 up and he makes early subs when we've been in a slump..

Just leave the fuckin team as it was whilst we were playing well.

On pep game management for me.
 
Really angry after that. We are banged up at the moment no doubt. But that’s no excuse for the pathetic lack of application. Some players dialling it in and getting picked regardless. Tactically we persist with playing a system that is killing us week in week out.
 
Just so poor. We got a lucky penalty, a deflected goal then the one and only time we did move the ball quick we scored.

But the team is so mentally weak. One goal and they’re flustered. Zero leaders on that pitch. Full of wimps who panic after one error. The defence is weak. Mentally and physically. Akanji has gone from a Rolls Royce unit to a flailing Fiat. Gvardiol has gone off a cliff. Lewis is shit. Too many passengers in a team that isn’t good enough to carry them.

The sooner somebody like Dias is back, the better. He’d have got hold of Gvardiol after the first error and made sure he didn’t fuck up again. Nobody else will do that and it shows. Too many nice guys and not enough leaders.

Pathetic really. 3-0 up to Feyenoord at home and drawing 3-3. Goodness, gracious me.

Embarrassing.

We ain’t winning anything as things stand..there is no turn around or click of the fingers that fix’s this,there is something not right within the club,throw in injuries,players possibly moving on in the summer others out of form or getting up to speed and the hunger and desire to keep going in games,having won everything..
 
Pep gambled and lost, taking Phil, Ake and Gundog of in one go and with so much time left, plus Gvardiol is simply not a left back (maybe not a defender at all?) coupled with the fact that he cannot get through 60 minutes never mind 90 minutes without losing focus, no way he should have played today, especially after the way he played against spuds and what he cost us.
 
Cruising at 3 nil up and playing well with lots of confidence then the substitutions bringing on the young players changed everything. We just fell apart in midfield and defence!?!?!?
