That was an utter disaster. We are so so fragile. We’re back to conceding goals in bursts. We conceding 3 in 15 minutes tonight, 2 in 7 on Saturday, 2 in 5 at Brighton and 3 in 11 away to Sporting.

If we concede at the moment we fall apart.

Gvardiol needs a rest his confidence is shot to pieces. Ederson had a decent game but has to better on their second goal.

Silva must produce the least amount of chances from a wide man. He was in so many good positions and produced so little.

I was terrified when we didn't bring anything in midfield last summer. Convinced myself Gundo could be a stop gap. Oops.

It's worse than I imagined. So little athelticism. So little speed. We're pretty easy to press -- how many times did Gundo lose the ball today -- and we don't press effectively enough anymore.

There's a lot wrong right now -- too many guys with their heads turned? -- but the root of the problem, IMO, was not refreshing the midfield with some athleticism this past (two?) summer.

That was an absolute disaster. Feels worse than a loss. The self-destruction for all three of their goals was painful to watch. I’ve also got a couple of moron mates who are convinced we are guilty of the 115 and love to laugh at our every misfortune - our group Whatsapp has been a hard read these last few weeks.

The players look so mentally fragile. It takes me back to Joe Hart under Pellegrini when he dropped him and brought in Pantilimon. Didn’t Joe go and get some sort of help and come back 4 or 5 games later a different player? Whoever the club used for that - can we please get them back and lock them in a room with our defence?
