I reckon we will scrape a win against the dippers, look at the positives, Jack back (played awesome tonight), Nunes getting his form, Haaland back to scoring, play Ake left back and Ruben (don't pick Gvardiol) back in the centre, Kev coming on with 15 to go, we'll have just enough to get the result.

Love your positivity but we’ll get well beaten at Anfield.

In fairness that wasn’t even Gvardiol’s worst CL evening at the Etihad, he was in the RBL side that got battered 7-0, I did wonder why the fuck we signed him after that.
Ederson is not a top keeper, he’s done well in a side where he doesn’t have much work to do but he’s average and switches off to much. Another five minutes and we’d have lost, 100%. So take the draw. Pep needs a break, those subs were awful. Anyone hoping for a miracle on Sunday should forget it, it’s going to be a pasting.

Rico was our best player

But he wasn’t really imo. He gets on the ball loads, is pretty neat and tidy, but isn’t doing much with it. By virtue of him being in the centre of the park (not his fault as Pep demands it) he’s left with no chance to be in the right position to defend. That tactic is killing us at the moment.

Both he and Walker are miles off what we need as a full back right now.

3-0 up, confidence being restored, we take foot off the gas , make 3 subs at once, Gvardiol decides to down tools, confidence disappears.

It was the arrogance of the subs that did it for me. It is easy for Gvardiol to get the blame but our entire team dynamic has changed. Wingers and midfielders cannot be bothered to put the covering work in.
