I think Pep needs a share of the blame too. He made two nonsensical subs. Debruyne for Gundo and McAtee for Ake. He didn't need to do that.

If he can't make subs: with fifteen or so minutes left to play; when we're 3-0 up and coasting; when De Bruyne needs minutes in his legs with a big game coming up at the weekend; when Gundogan at his age was never brought back with the intention of him playing full ninety-minute games, especially not with the big game I just referred to coming up at the weekend and no-one to play in his position, because Kova's injured…
well, if he can't make subs in all those conditions, then he simply no longer has a squad.

Plenty in the pre-game thread moaning about McAtee not getting minutes. If you can't bring him on when 3-0 up and in control at home to a very average side, then when can you? KDB needs minutes too.

McAtee and KDB didn't play at all well but ultimately it was poor defending from Gvardiol, Akanji, Ederson and Lewis that cost us the game.

Gvardiol and Ederson gave 3 goals away. Lewis was one of our better players on the pitch - in fact he is one of the leaders, and that’s the problem. Fans are turning on a young lad that should be being led on the pitch not taking charge.

I don't think its all the players, Gvardiol cannot focus for 90 minutes, and we have some ageing players who are starting to struggle with the pace of the teams we play. Jack played well, Nunes also, Rico ran all over the place and played pretty good, Haaland scoring again is great to see. I know we will get a huge drubbing against the dippers but then we can start to stabilise and get to the January window.

Sorry no, Simpson Pusey also came on to play defence, your post makes the Ake/McAtee swap sound more ludicrous than it was.

We were 3 nil up ffs, should have been able to bring on tits out Jackie, Moonchester and Jason Manford and still seen the game out.

If you look at the replay, it was only Pusey and Lewis that were back there on the 3rd goal. Bernardo comes charging in late. McAtee was way up the pitch.
