Really hoping to see Foden, Diaz, and Nmecha in the starting eleven tonight.

Couls not care less about the result—I just want them to get the taste to help further motivate our current brightest talents.

just come back from the city centre, plenty of feyenoord fans about. they are so easy to spot, I've never seen so many people in stone island bubble jackets before...

Whilst I agree with playing some kids, I disagree about the result. I want them to play and win. Otherwise they'll more than likely be cast off by several fans as not good enough who shouldn't be seen again.

Reckon we'll probably see Brahim start and Foden replace him after an hour or so. Can't see both starting as you wouldn't back them to have the fitness to play the full 90

Foden may well be flavour of the month, but Brahim is the further along so I'd wager he'd be the more likely to start.
Nothing to do with being flavour of the month, I'd just rather see the lad that's been with us since under 9s get his chance and think it would give the whole Academy a lift. Don't agree that Diaz is further along either.

Flavour of the month?? A very odd statement given he has been developing brilliantly over the past 12 months at least. The wider public may only just have been made aware of his ability but not supporters who have watched his progress for themselves.

Foden is the more mature player,he's much more team orientated in his approach and his game is more complete.

Flavour of the month in the way that after the World Cup, he is now the one youth player everyone has decided is the one. Before that it was Brahim. Before that it was Aleix Garcia, before that Manu Garcia, before that Rony Lopes, before that Denis Suarez. A lot of our fans seem to only have room for one youth player in their thoughts and then instantly discard the previous one when a new one comes along. It's not an insult of Foden or his abilities, more of the weird mentality of some of our fans and how taken they are by the next thing before even giving the current one a chance.

Brahim has been around the squad longer than Foden, he's made his debut, pretty sure he's been playing with the EDS longer and has generally been on the edge waiting for his chance longer. Talent wise I don't think there is a lot to chose between the two, but Brahim has been at this point waiting for longer, he is further along.

Leave early today everyone. Little Mix sell out, plus Xmas shopping, Xmas markets, plus football, plus road closures to escort fans, plus people getting home from work. Will be chaos tonight!

7.9% on here must be rags, that's all I'm saying, either that or their default position is City can't win ...!
I'm not saying they are not entitled to their opinion any less than the rest of us but I would just like to hear what they base their negative predictions on, I'm genuinely interested, perhaps someone can enlighten us??

He says “not true” to the poster saying we should start our strongest possible line up tonight. It’s not true as a) it’s a stupid idea and b) Pep has already said he will start with players that didn’t start at the weekend.
You miss my point. How can you claim something that hasn't yet occurred as not true and claim also that someone's belief is untrue under the same argument. It's all speculative until we see the team sheet and outcome
