Feyenoord (H) | Ticket Information

Which is precisely what they want unfortunately
They are welcome to it because it will be a decade or more before we have United tourist levels to fill that new stand on a shit rainy night in January when all the locals are skint and no longer go and it’s on TV just look at the Burnley game last season and Watford this season

They are totally clueless, why do these utter morons who make these decisions not look at the bigger picture and realise the obvious that you need to maintain and build local hardcore support before you go after transient fly by night support. We do not have hordes of day trippers and when the success dries up as it will inevitably these 'fans' will be nowhere to be seen and you'll have 40,000 fans rattling round in a stadium holding over 60,000.

What a bloody stupid comment!
Not a stupid comment at all.

The club have clearly demonstrated over the last few years that they see season tickets holders as more of an annoyance and will do whatever they can to decrease the number of ST holders in the ground.

Whether it be the ridiculous price increases, or the fact that they only plan to introduce Flexi Golds from now on, the evidence is all there.

They'd rather you give up your season ticket, so they can sell it as a matchday ticket to a different tourist each game and make twice as much, if you can't see that then god knows

The reason they don't care is because all they care about is increasing revenue as much as possible in a short space of time so it looks good on their resumés. By the the time it starts affecting us, they'll all be long gone.

Once again this exact thing happened at Barcelona and they're still feeling the effects of it today, how no one in the club can see this is beyond me

It's like all businesses, well most anyway, bring in unsustainable long-term plans, get a few ticks in a box, then fuck off before the shit hits the fan with a great CV.

It's just sad to see our club get treated in this way, like to them we're nothing more than a stepping stone to further their career, but for all of us it's literally a way of life

With member discounts etc, a non season ticket holding parent and two U18 kids can go to a home UCl game (in SS1 or 3) for £55. That's £18 each.
Agree there are too many games, and football is too expensive, but what we do think the lowest price should be for an adult and 2 kids? £40, a £20 plus 2 x£10?
What are Utd charging for Bodo and Paok in the Euro Johnstone's Paint Trophy?
Priority should be to fill the ground, even if the tickets were too cheap there would be no issue with touts reselling higher, game will not sell out.
For a league of Ireland game tomorrow night I'm paying €56 for an adult and 2 kids!!. (It'd be €32 if they were both U12). That LOI pricing is a bit nuts, but City compares pretty well in comparison.. (Though the LOI game is not on TV the UCL would all be)

That's the half of it mate, what's important to their strategy is brand and then they will be bringing home the big bucks, what they are doing is concentration on the brand.

In the future football will be just a part of the business that goes on inside this Willy Wonka land they are building, they are very much diversifying their business.
