I cannot understand the fuss about McAtee among “fans”. I don’t think the unusually loud whining about McAtee is helping the young lad or the team. I don’t see why he has to play. Lewis was the McAtee among fan base last season and when he start to play regularly, he became “dog shite” in the fan base.

We're on a 5 game losing streak, he offers an alternative to out of form players who have lacked energy in games where we are chasing a result. He probably wouldn't solve our problems but what on earth is the point in him staying this season to not get any minutes at all?

That side should be enough for the win, but it's a bit baffling that pep has stuck with Lewis/gundo/Bernardo after their performances during this recent run, all three would surely benefit from a rest from the team.

They'll probably all play at Anfield as well and we'll be 'surprised' when our energy drops from the 20th minute

Yes, I kind of agree that there must be something not quite right. It's very puzzling. I also know that we're all experts on here, but Peps the only one that sees them on a day to day basis.

Gundogan doesn't fill me with any confidence at all right now. Opposition must see him starting and fancy their chances - nothing else in our midfield to back him up as he doesn't have the legs to do it on his own. I'm hoping Grealish will make a difference - would have been nice to see KdB starting as well but I'm guessing he still isn't fit.
