Ortega

Walker Akanji Ake Gvardiol
OReilly Nunes
Savihno KDB Grealish
Foden/McAtee

Haaland and Bernardo need to rest or they will be the next one injured.
Grealish and KDB need minutes
You could swap Ake and Gvardiol positions

Gundo and Lewis shouldnt be playing - O'Reilly deserves a chance as we saw enough in pre season of how physically competative he is and he can get up and down and sty with runners as can Nunes if he wants

KDB - time to show if you still want it or not

False 9 with either McAtee or Foden....makes us so much more compact and able to move up and down the pitch as a unit.

It's a must win game, The worst part is that we could genuinely lose this fixture, The way we are playing is very tough to see were a win will come from.

3-4-3, with all 3 defenders staying home and any 2 of the 4 midfielders up supporting the attack, but dropping in the minute we lose the ball.

Ortega

Akanji
Ake
Gvardiol

Bernardo
KDB
Nunes
Foden

Savinho
Haaland
Grealish

Need to get forward quicker and route one in behind is meat and drink to the Viking, but we seem resigned to 20 sideways passes to “control” the game, while letting teams set up in their defensive block…waiting for their next counterattack opportunity!!!

Feed Haaland some through and over the top balls and get up and support him FFS!

Haaland could have had a first half hat-trick and we could have gone in 3-2 UP!

That's one of the current problems. If Haaland has an off night, as he will do every now and then, we need the others to pick up the slack.

Couldn't tell you what position Savinho was supposed to be playing in the first half, but Gvardiol was the only outlet on that side. Then horribly exposed every time they broke. Our wide players seriously need to work in their finishing. They're all technically brilliant players, so it shouldn't be that difficult. Sadly they're making it look it.

Gotta go full strength otherwise we're doing at least 7 defeats on the trot

A good solid win on Tuesday might judt give us the boost we need to go to Anfield and at least put a fight up and maybe sneak a point

Don't get the Nunes selection from some posters, I'd love him to do well but he's not up to it, I'd rather give a couple of the younger players a chance.

Our midfield is not controlling games which is putting more pressure on the defence. Bernie is one of my favourite players but he's not playing well, with him and Gundo in midfield we're getting out run, I posted a while ago after Rodri was injured that I didn't think we would win anything this season, it will be the case I think. After next Sunday we'll probably be 11 points behind the Dippers with a very small chance of retaining the title.

It's a 2/3 window rebuild to get back on track. The wrangling with the wankers at the Premier League has fucked us over, they've got what they wished for.

Can't see Pep doin' owt else. He'll be desperate to stop the rot, same as the rest of us!

If we’re relying on Nunes to turn things around then we’ve got serious problems

Inside left to open the channel for Gvardiol.

Jesus Christ, I thought I’d take a break from sulking about our run of results and watch Ted Lasso. (NB spoiler alert!) But even AFC Richmond beat City 0-2 at the Etihad. It’s a poor run lads and lasses when we can’t even beat a fictitious team led by a joke American coach!

Anyway CTID of course. The January transfer window really important and the summer one is absolutely huge as we go again and rebuild under Pep. And perhaps we can salvage something out of this season still. Can’t grumble after this last triumphant decade. But we can hope.

Let’s get started on Tuesday you blue boys. And give McAtee a start.

Grealish LW
McAtee RW

Lets give Savinho a rest, let McAtee do on RW what Grealish does, control and precision.

Haaland ST
Kevin CAM

Kevin needs to build fitness, and Foden should be benched.

Nunes LCM
O Reilly RCM

Bench Bernie and Gundogan and give these 2 tall physical players a chance.

Jacob Wright RB

Id like to see him play over Walker and Lewis as an inverted RB (pushing Nunes or O Reilly higher) and see if he can do a job like Delph did.

Preferably, Stones does the midfield thing, but dont see it happening anymore.
