Why in the world would we start a team full of players that have barely (or never) played a competitive match together in our opening CL tie, away from home, in a volatile atmosphere?

Rotterdam weather is 20-40% chance of light-to-moderate rain for the match, so I doubt they'll call it off.

The underage team won over there this afternoon so I assume there is little doubt the match will go ahead

If those smaller bodies can manage the wind and rain then our senior players (several of them overweight) should be fine. ;-)

Put out the strongest 11 and get the job done. Then rest players when needs be, starting with the positions we could do without injuries.
