Apologies if anyone has already poisted this: 'UEFA to allow a reduced homegrown quota':

Paywall mate, any chance you could cut and paste it?

....Uefa said it was “not in a position to make any further comment” on the situation, but any such agreement would raise doubts about the credibility of FFP.

not very encouraging is it

Certain people would have doubts about FFP if UEFA had relegated us to the conference. Whatever happened it was never going to be enough for Wenger and co. I expect the self appointed guardian of football morality to opine on this development in the very near future !

Wouldn't surprise me if we put a clause in the final agreement and UEFA were too stupid to realise what they were agreeing to.

I've had an email off the head of communications from UEFA finally. The gist of it is "UEFA is not in a position to make any further comment relating to individual settlement agreements at this time."

Weird that they want to keep this part of the settlements a secret when they had no issue with explaining in glorious detail how the fines would work!

Any idea if they're still keeping it secret with regards to Arsenal or Everton appealing for harsher punishment?

Have they actually confirmed (preferably written in stone or at least in their own blood) where the withheld prize money is going to?

Quite amusing that the Times article says that the possibly reduced HG quota "alarms the FA". I can't see them being too chuffed in 12 months when our club-trained players could be Belgian, Dutch, Portuguese and Welsh. ;-)

I think that it will be kept quiet until the appeal date runs out

That particular man is a hypocrite. If he was so alarmed about FFP, perhaps he would be so kind as to pressurise his Board into refunding the £42m that his club received for Adebayor and Kolo.
