FFP: City amongst 19 clubs on UEFA "watchlist"

Barca have massive problems. They have been selling future income to get them out of the shit. Another ffp loophole that was engineered in to allow clubs to borrow money. Give it a few more years and they will be in more of a mess. They can't help singing players but they don't seem to get any better as a result.
How much are the retained rights? Don’t think they have sold 100%.

Finally, the CFCB First Chamber also observed that another 19 clubs that took part in the 2021/22 UEFA club competitions, namely Borussia Dortmund (GER), Chelsea FC (ENG), FC Barcelona (ESP), FC Basel 1893 (SUI), 1.FC Union Berlin (GER), Fenerbahçe SK (TUR), Feyenoord (NED), Leicester City FC (ENG), Manchester City FC (ENG), Olympique Lyonnais (FRA), Rangers (SCO), Real Betis Balompié (ESP), Royal Antwerp FC (BEL), Sevilla FC (ESP), SS Lazio (ITA), SSC Napoli (ITA), Trabzonspor AŞ (TUR), VFL Wolfsburg (GER) and West Ham United FC (ENG), were able to technically fulfil the break-even requirement thanks to the application of the COVID-19 emergency measures and/or because they benefited from historical positive break-even results (T-3 and T-4).
Correct, but it’s a weird policy:
“They would have overspent but for obeying the covid regs so we will monitor them”
“He would have robbed the bank, but decided to obey the law, so we will keep an eye on him”
Sounds like police policy towards black people driving Mercs.

Still pisses me off that CAS fined us anything for that when it was clear and understandable why we took the stance we did, which, I thought, was exactly the right thing to do.
It was a politically expedient fudge, they threw UEFA and our detractors a bone and also potentially deterred us from going after UEFA for costs

Barcelona said Friday it had agreed to sell an additional 15% of income from TV rights from Spanish league games for 25 years to Sixth Street. That gives the investment firm a total of 25% of the club’s TV rights for La Liga games after Barcelona and Sixth Street struck an initial deal last month.

Both deals were said to raise over 500m Euro's.

They've also sold 49% of their inhouse audiovisual content hub, Barca Studios, to Orpheus Media (24.5%) & Socios.com (24.5%) for 200m Euros.

Yep I'm the same as you. Don't understand. Unless we're trying to eek every penny out of sponsorship? Does anyone know how much this one is worth? Can't be a lot
It makes me wonder if it goes deeper than football - maybe it’s not even there for the football club’s benefit, and just as some dodgy way of Sheikh Mansour helping out a mate in China?

So despite the constant scrutiny the club is under, you think we're up to something dodgy?
