FFP - how are we fixed?

Well we are expecting/hoping for a big income with Tevez, Adebayor, RSC, Bridge and so on been both sold and off the wage bill so that will help us with FFP.

We will be lucky to get 40M for them. All on big wages and hard to shift. I think PB said that we could spend around 30M plus what ever we generate through sales.

I did. Maybe a bit more. Player amortisation is incredibly high at the moment (over £80m a year) and we need to get it down to around £30m over the next few years. So we need to sell but some of it will disappear as contracts are renewed.
 
I think the deadwood including the likes of MJ Cunningham etc would yield between £50 and £60mill. I think those funds plus say DeJong would give us the funds to buy Martinez and Hazard. If there is an additional £30mill to spend then I would hope this was spent on a Lavezzi or similar player. We may have to sell further players to get our targets these could include AJ and Savic.
 
Sellsellsell.. We really need to shift some shit. Think most of them still have another year to go :(
 
Big summer ahead, sell....Ballotelli, Dzeko, Tevez, Ade, Bridge, NDJ, Kolarov, RSC, new kit deal with Umbro (big money upfront) , then big spend, RVP etc
 
I hope we sell very few players.

But Tevez.... God I hope he's sold.

And those like Ade, RSC, Bridge, etc.

I think Puma gets the new kit deal, don't they?

We will get £30 million almost guaranteed from Tevez going. Ade be between £8-10 million, Will get 25p for Bridge and maybe a free paella in Benidorm for the sale of RSC
 
We will bring in a conservative £25m from Champs League participation.

There will also be an additional £10m on last year from the TV deal of finishing in one of the top two positions.

Added to Tevez, Adebayor, De Jong, possibly Dzeko, there's another £60m plus.

The £35m a year also kicks in from Etihad.

I would say we will be able to show a significant downward trend by at least £70m after new purchases.

Not too shabby at all!
 
Looking at figures quoted by Tolmie, I would expect to see 3 25£mill plus players joining us in the summer. Martinez being one, Hazard looking possible and so to Lavezzi

Etihad Stadium? Sponsorship i would assume.
 
To be honest we are f*cked. We will fall foul of the rules and be kicked out of Europe (both competitions) virtually all the players will leave because we are not in Europe, the owners will realise they are wasting their money and pull the plug so they can buy the RBS, this will cause the manager to jack it as well and move to a bigger club, Racing Santander or Bruge robably. The crowds will then fall as the JCL's wont want average football so we will fall even further behind financially. Our only hope is if a consortium of Noel Gallagher, Ricky Hatton and John Stapleton put some money in, this together with the revenue we will generate in 2018 from getting into Europe via the Fair Play League might mean we can buy a couple of older pro's to steady things until Blue Moon goes back to what it used to be.
