FFS! Airline rip-off!

Thompson sport doing a one dater for £299 including all transfers and quite usefully the handing out of your ticket on the plane.

Also one nighter for £389.

Seems a lot but for those where cash isn't really an issue then it seems a decent option including not having to take too much time off work.

I did a few of the original Thomas Cook Day Trips, and like you say, the huge advantage is the direct transfers, especially after the game.
I remember the game in Munich when Tevez fell out with Mancini. That night, the plane landed in Manchester before 1am local time.

If I did it, it would be on this to be honest. The thought of going for one day and then having to find the ticket collection point would put me off the alternative one day trip. I don't get enough holidays to use 2/3 days for things like this.

How are all the bargain hunters going to get on if we get to a final? No waiting for dates etc for that. Won't most of you be in Madrid? Is it a case of getting someone at home on to it.

If you can get a cheap deal to Milan then pay it now and enjoy the holiday regardless or fuck it off if you end up not wanting to go!

Getting ahead of ourselves, but I did the San Siro for Milan v Juventus, the weekend before Robbie Fowler's last minute penalty miss against Boro

It’s a bit like the Allianz, fairly close to the airport, but nothing around it. No bars, no restaurants, no cafes etc.
I presume it’s had a lick of paint because it was deteriorating, even in 2005.
Definitely a day trip for me, if we reach the Final

plenty of hotels just outside the centre of Milan, I cant see the prices dropping even after them with the rooms on hold let them go, they know they will sell them on again so no need to drop the price, also beware, if you are thinking of booking in to an airport hotel, think Manchester to Liverpool that's how far the airport is to the centre/ground.. here's hoping we make it

For those preemptively booking for Milan, take advantage of things like booking.com's no prepayment required with free cancellation.
