I was quick with Ryanair , go out Tue Morning come back Thu morning, Manchester - Madrid £99 !!! Bargain !

I put in my card details minutes after the draw, clicked complete purchase, then got an error message saying that it had jumped up £100, did I want to continue. I was paying for someone else as well, I couldn't afford the new price so I didn't go through with it and now it doesn't look like we're going .

Pain in the arse and not cheap but look at a flight to some obscure airport in Europe and then onwards to Madrid mate.

Looked at Brum. Couldn't be arsed with the hassle of driving there. In hindsight, it would have saved me over £200. :-( Saying that, flown from Liverpool on numerous occasions. Nice and easy drive, small Airport, so happy and content with a route and Airport I know.
Apart from that, you can't take your money with you. I work all year, so paying £200 extra compared to flying from Birmingham isn't that bad. I'll just book cheaper Hotels and save some money that way.

If a group want to go from the North west, fly to Alicante on the Tuesday and hire a car
