Ahhh okay, okay, I omitted a cup run and the Futchers. I was having a rant! No time for reason or thought during a good old rant.
Even with those in mind however, its a dire and abysmal tally from 126 years of league history.

There was a big survey done about ten years back that took everything into account - not just league placings but a whole variety of contributions and achievements made by every league club (including cup runs and players produced) - and Chester came a resounding last place out of the hundred or so clubs merited.

And the only club we've played in the 1st round of the cup if i'm not mistaken? Though i do remember their car park was very spacious so that was a plus...!
