Fifa 12 is going to be immense...

The only thing that would make this game for me is sorting out Online Play.

The replayability is destroyed by kids (and some adults) continuously choosing either Real Madrid/Barca/Chelsea to play online.

I'd say on the mic: Look i'll select Leyton Orient (1star team) you select an equivalent team and we'll have a proper competition.

The guy then says: no, i wanna be Real Madrid, wa wa wa wa wa.

What is so entertaining about constantly playing as the same fucking team all day every day and winning, there is no joy in this.

I'll say to the guy: well you'll win?
The guy: I know, that's why I'm here.

Pointless.

Some system which allows the user to have a "block list" of clubs that you cannot select.
So If I have Real Madrid or even City on this block list, the kids can't select these teams :)

Fifa is going to be amazing, quick game every saturday morning destroy scum fans online, then watch the boys do the same thing in real life!

Why dont EA set up a subscription system instead? Basically thats what it is today. And you get 2 new dribbles each year. Same shite as today, but steadier income for EA, since they put out the samge game re-packaged every year.

And force their user base to buy the new game if they want more than 3 opponents online.

i saw a video on youtube from EA where by the host can now set the settings in ranked matches i.e. up to 3 stars and a league system is in effect

I know exactly what you mean. My worry this year is that they'll all be choosing City!

Really looking forward to playing this too!

Regards PES vs FIFA debate, I think FIFA ripped off all that was great about PES and have since added so much more and improved on it so much year on year.

Back in the day I loved PES and thought FIFA was a joke game. I never thought that I would have such a reversal in my opinions but nowadays its all about FIFA. Hopefully 12 will live up to expectations.

The poster who put up that PES with Collini on the front was dead right - that was a classic!

For everyone concerned, EA has put in a new system where you pick the team before and then they match you up with a person who's team is similar in rating to yours.

So if you pick a shit team, you won't have to play twats who pick Barca all the time.

I've always wondered this. If someone has quit on me in online play. Do I get the points? I know I get the win, but does my rank improve?

Probably a dumb question but was never sure about it...
