Started a career at brentford and currently top 4 points clear of Huddersfield in January. Enjoying the game much more now I have started to get the hang of the defending.
Managed to sign a few decent players on frees, and managed to get Owen and leitner on loan. Plus got my virtual pro playing too. Just beat Wigan in the fa cup 3-2

You can only start winning league titles in division 1, 20 points required though and 14 points just to stay up

With the youth team does anyone know if ya have to put them in first team squad and loan them out, or will they grow in the youth team?

Theyll grow faster in the youth team actually. When they sit on the bench only physical attributes grow. Finishing and things like that are very performance based.But once they reach 17 or so they want a contract or they'll leave.
I always put a youth player in, try to set him up with a tap in or something. Increases his form.

FIFA 12 is shit i've decided. Well the online play is for me anyway. Most games end up with only one goal scored, I rarely get free kicks even when I get fouled on the ball its the oppo who gets the free kick :s
Gameplay is shite. Am i just supposed to sit there holding L2 when im defending? Oh I can tackle but it has to be spot on or the tackling player stumbles over his own feet and is now no where near the ball. I can't get past a man without doing some sort of skill move (which I can't do anyway). I'm going back to FIFA 11.
