FIFA Club World Cup 2025 | Day 7, 8 & 9 | 20/21/22 June '25

Only factor will be where can the most money be made.

FIFA have realised the ticket prices they were asking for have been a no go, even in the States.

Some tickets have been going for as low as $4 I read in some games.

Far cry from the hundreds they were initially asking for.

FIFA know in South America the stadiums will be absolutely rammed every game, so even discount $10 tickets they will still make more money than they will do in USA.

Must say I got this CWC ass-backwards. Thought it would be a flop with attendance and quality of play but matches I’ve seen have been great fun with many players giving it their all and mangers picking quality lineups and, while fans are perhaps not filling these sizable venues for group stages, quite energetic and in greater numbers than I expected.
+1
I'm enjoying the tourney much more than I thought I would.

Did he get sent off quite recently as well?

It seems to me he got red carded in the latter stages of the league. Not absolutely sure. But the guy just loses his head.
At Newcastle, just over a month ago (may 11th)...

35 seconds into the video.

The bloke is a total fucking idiot. Both of those red cards, it looks like he's gone out to do the opponent.

Just watched the Bayern game. First European team that has been able to hold back the South American second half fire they seem to bring. Cracking solo goal from Boca as well.

How Kane got MOTM I'll never know. On paper it looks like he had a good game with a goal and an assist. But he looked bolloxed from kick off, missed a chance by missing the ball altogether and the goal looked like he had a bad touch and it flukily rolled into the right place for him to toe poke in.

Looking forward to the actual World Cup in the same conditions I'm not sure he's the right man to lead the England front line.

Not the most appetising games today, think the last group game is where this thing wakes up properly, bit of jeopardy.

This CWC should absolutely be held in South America next.

What a tournament that would be.

I would 100% be making the trip down if it was over there.
Agreed. The fans are on another level.

It will be held in Saudi though because FIFA are bent as fuck.

Howard Webb will be studying how FIFA use VAR to manipulate the entertainment factor.

Kane MOTM award was purely for DAZN to interview him.

I bet Erling will get one even if he's anonymous next game.

Easy to underestimate the African teams but let’s not forget that their Champions League requires them to travel immense distances and play in extreme weather. This situation probably feels like a walk in the park for Mamelodi.

I do think the conditions are having a major impact on this game.
