That goes for 99% of the teams against us at the minute, not just Chelsea.
Pedro’s paid a chunk of his fee back in one game.
 
Teams that make deep runs in cup competitions usually stick with their core lineup in all crucial matches, only making changes for injuries or suspensions, especially in defence, which should be tinkered with the least unless absolutely necessary.
 
Interesting watching Chelsea play under Maresca he don’t seem to have all his centre backs pushed high 3 seem to hold back and then have a 1 or sometimes 2 midfielders there to close down any break!

When you have so much quality with the other five players that seem fine!

Under pep we have to play as a team press as a teams and work very hard in every game if we do that we have already seen the trophies titles we have won!

Is football changing or is playing this way still is more of a liability?

Am so interested into how Pep sorts that all out this season with a full fit squad with new players settled in and that will be after a month or two I reckon..

I am not sure why you are fighting to be some kind of contrarian. I am not arguing with you or disagreeing, I am saying would the media be quick to ACKNOWLEDGE the fact that a city player paid for themselves? Look at that headline again, and ask yourself "would a city player ever get a headline like that?"
