The worst one was playing a friend online. I'd bet him £20 I'd beat him. It was 2-1 in the 90th minute with him having won a corner and my dodgy controller decided that would be a good moment to go off. He scored and I just lost it. I ejected the disk and stamped on the disk tray which obviously broke it. Went into my back garden and lobbed the controller into another garden.

What did you say had happened?

Basically playing online, 1-1 against the scum and its A goal kick, Joe Hart passes it short towards Kompany when Shrek intercepts and puts it away into the empty net in my rage i screamed with the cat next to me who then clawed me to i grabbed the little fecker with both hands and before i knew it it was breathing and was dead.... So after calming down I knew my Mum would go mad so had to make it look like i didnt do it so took it outside with a knife and hammer, inflicted wounds to the body and left it in the road to look like a hit and run, story believed, job sorted.

"I knew my mum would go mad". Brilliant. I don't know whether to be in awe of the most amazing post I've ever seen, or ring the police.

I can't even play anyone. It either just hangs or says could not connect.

It's pretty annoying but probably easier than Rooney scoring against me 90th minute.

Awesome. The only way this perfect crime could have been bettered would be if you gave a description of someone you don't like as the driver.

Broken 3 controllers and nearly killed my wee brother with one once, I was dominating posession for the full match but it was only 1-1 and I made the cardinal error of the goalkick pass which the prick ultimately scored from, so I turned round and lobbed the controller at the wall behind me, it bounced off the radiator and smacked him in the back of the head leaving a nice big bruise... haven't killed any household pets but :P

Struggling to see if Josh Blue is joking, it's an awesome story if true but just a part of me thinks it's too funny to be true.

Punched a wall in frustration but that's it. If you haven't done that on any FIFA/FM/PRO football series, you're obviously not playing it right.

looks like controller fatalities are a common factor then. I wonder if EA get some shares in controller sales then???

Does anyone else suffer with this or am I the only one?

I heard last year a lad stabbed his father after he criticised his tactics during a game.

I've broken about 6 PS3 pads due to FIFA Rage.
