Always had great technique. One of the most technically accomplished players in the women's game. Had she some kind of pace she would have been one helluva a player! She holds the ball up well but needs support.

Indeed. Bardsley is fairly well known to followers of City and England, but that Japanese 'keeper is more than competent.A game (so far) that kills the myth that women goalkeepers are all crap, 4 excellent saves so far.
Still too close to call though, and some good football so far.
