Well done to the ladies.

Sometimes you have to ride your luck and they did enough to get through a difficult matchup, especially coming from behind.

Colombia are a decent team, elevated by cohesion and momentum, so this was an earned triumph. Perhaps if they had not been so wasteful it would have been a different result, but I think this was about their level. Next tournament they will no doubt be even better with this experience.

Hope the women go on to win it to show the men how it is done.
