Was surprised to hear the commentator mention the City influence on the England team. Never used to happen when most of them still actually played for us so it made a nice change.

No way will this England team win the World Cup. Shaky defence, non-existent midfield and useless strikers.

The teams that win the World Cups never look the best at the start. They grow into the competition. The Argentina team in the men's world cup being a good exampleNo way will this England team win the World Cup. Shaky defence, non-existent midfield and useless strikers.

Over 5 hours of football without a goal scored from open play, truly awful.
It's a shame because we have good midfielders and 2 great strikers.No way will this England team win the World Cup. Shaky defence, non-existent midfield and useless strikers.

They didn’t look as bad as this dross though.The teams that win the World Cups never look the best at the start. They grow into the competition. The Argentina team in the men's world cup being a good example
