FIFA Women's World Cup 2023

Pressure is on them now and will they be able to handle it?

Next Euros the media will expect them to win it. I doubt we have the coaching and investment in place to do so. The FA will committ to press releases but when it comes into further investment I suspect they'll expect WSL clubs to do that and let the coach take advantage of it.
I thought Spain outplayed us in the Euros too, although we eventually won the game. They look fitter and more technical that us (Imo).

Unlucky ladies, sadly England didn't control the midfield and therefore created few goal scoring opportunities. The ref also had a shocker. Gave the Spaniards everything, gave England very little and surprisingly or not?! seemingly didn't know that kicking the ball away is a bookable offense. Spain should have been down to 10 for the last 25 mins.

There was a big difference in quality Spain being far superior technically. They were easy on the eye and and played some nice one touch football. England were all brute force played as if they were coached by Fat Sam or Dave Bassett.Ball control is still way off from what it should be at this level.

No surprise there, it's the same when these men's teams play each other and probably all the youth teams too.

Right about the ball control though. It was frustrating watching us press them effectively in the 2nd half and then fail to control the aimless clearance and give it straight back to them.
