I'm trying out FUT for the first time this year and am getting fucked over on it, think I'm 16 losses, 1 draw, 4 wins.

Was doing that to me. Press the ps button, game > saved data and delete online squads. Go back on fifa and download them again, works fine after that.

they are gonna fix it today apparently, expect a patch later on.
