Fight in block 139

There appear to be one common theme in all these threads about trouble - the stewarding was fucking useless. We stayed behind to applaud our players and Wigan's and got asked 6 or 7 times to leave even though there were loads still in the Wigan end. The 2 bits of trouble in our section were both stopped by other City fans, stewards stood there doing fuck all

The stewarding there is shit.

It kicked off in the Green Man during that huge downpour. A grup of about 8 lads came out of the marque and were whacking fuck out of each other. No idea why.

Now im no shrinking violet and love a booze as much as anyone but Saturday was another level. 5-15 kos are to blame for drunkeness. The Green Man was heaving by midday and there were far more drunks than at the semi. Saying that being drunk does not excuse vile behaviour

Yes, I just said that. (Comma and full stop in the right place I hope?)

I was up in the top tier (Block 544 I think) and didn't see any trouble at all, that was before, during and after the game. The only thing that was remotely bad was people thowing cans and stuff at a coach full of Wigan outside the Greyhound pub, but most of them on the coach were goading people holding up "2's" which I think was to rub in that we came second.

Though the fact that there seems to have been a bit of trouble elsewhere isn't surprising considering the amount of pissed/drugged up scrotes there were knocking about.

I saw a lot of lads that must have been well under 18 that could barely stand. Fair enough if Dads are letting them have a few drinks throughout the day but a lot seemed to be drinking at the same pace as the Dads. Those jaeger girls probably contributed to that as well, serving anybody that wanted one.

We were sat on row 1 in 534. Before the match started the pissed up bloke on row 2 came tumbling over and landed on the bloke next to me. It relly shook my daughter up and she was really anxious for the rest of the game in case he did it again. We went in the Upper tier because on our previous visits my daughter hasn't been able to see because of people standing up. Might have to be Club Wembley next time.

My 10 year old son was in tears wanted to come home 15 minutes after kick off because of the pissed up idiot in 534 described above and the scuffle that eventually broke out because of him.

While I agree 5.15 kick off don't help ( we were drinking from 11.15 and didn't feel the need to go clouting anyone) but the united Semi was 5.15 we all had a good drink stood through entire game poznan bags of atmosphere don't remember any fights in City end that day maybe its our support that's changing.
