I find that every away I go to nowadays which isn't many, just pisses me off for this reason and the "get behind the team" "why aren't you singing" dickheads who feel the need to stand on their seats and turn round to the rest of the fans giving it the big one like they are some superfan or something.
West Brom away last year on Boxing Day put me off them and I've only been to one this year. I don't think I will bother with any more now.

Not sure you can blame this on new fans. I've seen it happen loads of time, even at home games well before the takeover.

It's not new fans usually, it's the older ones I find worse.

Not sure about yesterday but on the away games I manage to get to, there seems an element there who don't even seem old enough to accumulate the amount of points needed for a ticket, the swamp being a prime example

Not at Norwich away I would guess, in 2004/05 we had Norwich fans in the away end a no one really cared when they went 2 up.
Now every away game there are moans if we are not winning after 20 mins, never used to happen.

I go to away games to enjoy the day out and support the team but there are those who can't hold their drink and for who getting completely tanked is more important than anything else. Had one behind me at a recent game who was all over the place and kept banging into me. It was really annoying and eventually he did it to someone next to me, who had a go at him and was about to thump him. His pals were sensible enough to move him away from us and he was apologetic but that's often how these things start.

The game didn't even sell out did it? Neither did Liverpool away, but the on City facebook ticket sites there were many selling.

My friends 7 yr old didn't want to go to Wembley as against Sunderland some fighting broke out amongst City fans caused by 1 drunken idiot
It was not a newcomer. The lad doing the punching was old school. I seen him before, he was shouting bandwagon as he was throwing punches and kicks.
Tickets were on open sale for our end yesterday. I had to get a duplicate from the ticket office and others were coming in paying cash for our end

Probably an overnight super fan, we have had loads since the 2007 takeover.
