I'll go off recent Best Picture winners at the Oscar's:

Moonlight - Genuinely didn't understand what all the fuss was about. Bullied kid leaves town then comes back an reconnects with High School love. That's not really a story.

Birdman - How the fuck that beat Boyhood to Best Picture is a fucking travesty. Michael Keaton as his most irritating and annoying doing basically fuck all. But it looks like one-take so it wins best film? Shite.

Slumdog Millionaire - I don't get it. It's the kind of story a child would write in Primary. Up there with scoring the goal in the cup final and waking up and it's all a dream.

Lord of the Rings - Fuck off.
