This looks like it's going to be a massive head fuck!!

Despite some hating it I actually quite enjoyed it. Maybe some parts of its execution could have been better but stories with these kind of themes I absolutely love.

Wow, Evil Dead looks fantastic.

That saying, 'there's something out there', is one of the things i'd hate to hear the most, and owning a rather large garden I sometimes imagine Mrs P waking me up to say it. 'There's something out there'.

The original is my favourite film and I'm gutted they are remaking it. It looks every bit the the souless piece of shit I feared it'd be.

Read If Chins Could Kill, Bruce Campbell's autobiography and the making of the original Evil Dead.

A 19 year old Sam Raimi striving to make something original with some amazing ingenuity and improvisation.

Then you have this, yet another swanky remake that goes against everything good about the original. Hopefully it'll just fade from memory in a year or two with all the other swanky remakes.

You cannot remake a film like The Evil Dead, its like doing a remake of the godfather or something. How the fuck can you remake the scene where she is raped by a tree.... ? Bullshit
