I have to credit fetlocks with the idea for this.
In Twelve Angry Men, Henry Fonda is the only jury member who doubts the accused's guilt. What if he'd said "Ah fuck it, he's guilty" right at the start of their deliberations.
Or what if James Bond finds the USB stick he'd normally spend the next 2 hours travelling the world looking for on the floor as the baddie flees in the first scene. Or in the opening scene of Dirty Harry, the baddie works out that Eastwood has actually fired six bullets and shoots him.
What other films could be a lot shorter if the opening was different?
