The likes if PSG Liverpool arsenal Chelsea and the scum take the piss with these shirt deals and sponsors galore paying top dollar we get one for 12m a year and get all the shit thrown at us when really we are the sensible ons

So some one pays the rags 70,000,000 quid per season to manufacture their kit. If you call a shirt £55 that means they would have to sell 1,272,727 shirts per season to break even! That's excluding materials and labour costs!

I'd love to know how many genuine rag kits get sold per season.

PSG have a 20 million euro a season deal which is still more than us in a league that gets less coverage than womens sunday league netball

They´re getting what they can and so should we. Our deal should be worth at least double with City shirts being sold more or less everywhere these days with Nike´s distribution network. I seriously hope we are not getting 12 for the next 5 years or we will be seriously undermined in terms of transfer funds and FFP

All the kits they give away in deprived countries are probably counted as sales so no chance there.

I think that when we renegotiate, it will be an holistic deal, which will include City, NYCFC & Melbourne Heart, so we could see a monster deal in place next time round.

I thought its a 6 year deal with Nike for us, 12m for 6 years, 72m in all.

That was written when it was announced.

From the OS:

The Umbro sponsorship, which has been in place since June 2009, will continue to the end of the 2012/13 season, after which all kit, training wear and related products will be designed, manufactured and distributed by Nike. The contract will run until 2019.
original contract was up to '15 I thought, Nike must already have renegotiated. PB?
We signed a 6-year, £72m deal with Nike last summer according to the press. This was originally a 10-year, £60m deal with Umbro in 2009 but that got renegotiated with Nike when they sold Umbro.

cheers PB, so we're stuck with it for a while.
Ah well, sure FS+ Glick can find some way of nullifying all these new kit deals from rivals.
