Who do we want finishing 5th, spuds or liverpool, because the team finishing 6th will not have any European games next season and they can just concentrate on a top 4 finish.

I believe that when we win the FA Cup and finish 4th the Cup Winners Europa League spot goes to 6th place in the league so its fairly academic!
 
Spurs to finish 6th. Think Liverpool are a better team overall and now they have their ownership sorted out they will be looking to reclaim their spot in the top 4. The more games they have, the better.
 
Whoah steady on there mate. It sounds like you have us nailed on for 4th. TBH i couldnt careless who it is as long we finish above both.

No. If we win the FA Cup, the spot goes to Stoke. If Stoke win the FA Cup they get it anyway. So only 5th place can get a Europa League place.

Rather Spurs got 6th as I don't think they'll be as much of a threat next season anyway.

If we dont finish 4th i hope we finish 6th, i think playing in europa league cost us a couple of points.

This. Spurs fans think that if they get 5th it will hold them back as they will have to play in the Europa League but they are just bitter about not getting 4th. Finishing 5th has a lot more pluses than negatives.

More money from Premier League
TV income for Europa League
Possibility of extra income for progression in EL
More games to give youngsters game time

The only negative is playing more games but if you play youngsters in them games then there are no negatives.

I personally want Liverpool to get it as i hate Spurs with a passion.
 
Liverpool are having a new manager bounce albeit a prolonged one. Their squad is short of top class players. Gerrard's not the force of old, Torres is gone, Carroll's not top class, Carragher's their best defender and he's 35 etc etc.

Spurs have a top quality squad but will they all be there next year with no CL to tempt them ?

One good result against the rags can't camouflage Arsenal's implosion in recent weeks. If Fabregarse goes to Barser the whole pack of cards could tumble.

How long can an ageing Chelsea side stay at the top ?

How much longer can Baconface work miracles with a squad of decent yet not outstanding players ?

We've nothing to worry about in terms of 4th place next year. Top 2 is a more than realistic target
