If it wasn't for next Sunday then tonight would be everything, regardless of whether it doesn't affect our season. The reality though is that Sunday is a million times more important than tonight, for obvious reasons. My mind is fixed on Sunday, with tonight meaning little in terms of the result. I'll watch it and wish for a win, but any slagging off from United fans should we lose won't bother me one bit, because next Sunday determines on whether we finish with a trophy or not. I can actually feel the butterflies about that match now.Blue Til Death said:Quite a few posts on here describing how Blues dont give a fuck about the game tonight..... Bollocks! If you cant get excited and nervous and give a serious shit about a derby match regardless of whats at stake....Then in my opinion your either lying or dead!! just my opinion!

I think we will win tonight as it goes, and the match will show there isn't a 15 point gap between the two teams in regards to them being that much better than us. I think it will be 2-0 to us and a dominant performance will be put on. It won't change anything though. I just want the players to get through fully fit and with none of them doing something silly for a straight red.Blue Til Death said:Pigeonho said:If it wasn't for next Sunday then tonight would be everything, regardless of whether it doesn't affect our season. I agree the semi is a vitally important game for us mate and what you say makes perfect sense, I just cant bring myself to give up on a derby match thats all.. Of course I would not swop a win tonight for a win on Sunday, no way! I think we can win both games though..

It's not so much a case of not giving a shit about it, femibob, it's more a case of there is a much more important fixture to think about next week.bobmcfc said:We are playing for pride tonight so of course it matters ! The minute you stop giving a shit about this fixture is the minute you might aswell stop watching city altogether !! We fight to the end of have we forgotten that ? I hope the players show some guts and put on a show tonight because they owe us a decent performance and a win.
