The Firefest, for those unfamiliar, is a two day rock festival, at Rock City, Nottingham. It's organised by Fireworks magazine. A great mag on Melodic/Hard rock music, produced by Stockport based Bruce Mee.
We have just got back from this years gigs, and have to say for anyone into this genre of rock, you shoulda been there!
Mitch Molloy, Tall Stories (feat. ex-Journey singer Steve Augeri) White Sister and Firehouse were the highlights for me, and new band H.E.A.T. were worhty contenders too. HAd a great time, even if it meant missing yesterday's game.

Guy I work with helps organise the event, he has spent the last couple of weeks organising flights for the bands and getting them to and from the venue from the relevent airports. He also played in Tyketto's set due to one of there guitarists being missing. And he broke his toe last week too which was unfortunate.

Tell him thanks from me. The organisation was superb. The crews involved in such fast changeovers in particular deserve a mention. As do the bar staff, my God but they pulled some pints!
