Fireworks/Bonfire night.

Fireworks are shite, especially the ones that sound like bombs. Some twat near me has set them off every 2-5 minutes for nearly 2 hours.
Fucking hell, I forgot about this, they dont do it here in Oz. Was fun when I was a kid but Im surprised its still allowed, selling fireworks. I can imagine A & E staff all over the country dreading it.

They must have been cheap this year, we have had one go off every 5 minutes earlier but now it is just on the hour, you know when the dog has finally settled into an exhausted heap but nope one boom and it is another 20 minutes.

and we all know that some **** will set one off at midnight or 1am or both.

Fireworks are amazing to watch, my dog is so terrified of them though. Poor thing just lies there shivering and won't go out for a walk.

Ban the fucking lot unless it’s a proper display and then get rid of the bangs, the ones that sound like bombs should be banned out right. I worked many bonfire weeks and it’s ridiculous, literally watching your money go up in smoke. This isn’t about taking enjoyment away, they are explosives at the end of the day and idiots shouldn’t have access to them.
My dog is shitting itself every night, cunts.

January 1st, Chinese New Year, Eid al-Fitr, Eid al-Adha, Diwali, November 5th.

Diwali especially, familes have private displays. They don't need banning, just have more regulated sales from banning cowboy sellers and give more accessibility for people to get the tamer compilation boxes from mainstream sources.

You know, like they used to?

Roman candle, witch's Hat, Catherine wheel, Traffic Lights.

I miss the big fuck off bonfire at Wythenshawe Park. I love a good fireworks display but used to be in awe of the huge bonfire.

You don’t see kids making mini local bonfires anymore either do you? Local families throwing their old furniture they were getting rid of that year on there and kids collecting fallen branches and pallets for weeks before, piling them up and then lighting the on 5th November. Nor do you see kids sitting on the streets under a home made hanged man saying ‘penny for the Guy’.

With media the and councils pushing Hallowe’en much more, it’s starting to erode something that’s been part of our culture for over 400 years. A shame really.

Are City planning on doing anything tomorrow night since the game is on Bonfire Night? There was a fireworks display at the Etihad when the Barça CL game fell on 5th November.
