Fireworks

Stay safe folks

That's just ridiculous mate, thank God they're banned here in Oz, just organized displays on like New Year's Eve allowed for which you need a license.
Of course we don't have bonfire night that's just a British thing.
If only it was like this here. Every year I take my rescue dogs away to Centreparcs just so they don't have a heart attack. As the fireworks go on 2 weeks before and after they are given medication off the vets. A few years ago a dog had a heart attack at dogs for rescue in Manchester. Then there are the soldiers struggling with PTSD who dread this time of year. But with a government that doesn't give a crap and who lives in a different world, what do we expect.

Tbh I find bonfire night noise less of an antisocial pain in the arse than the now seemingly year round celebratory fireworks pissed up folk set off in their gardens at all hours. Heard a fair bit last night around 7-9 pm but not much after that.

I was told by family that around Whitefield it was definitely like Beirut until early hours in the morning.

Always a good way of finding out which bloke has the smallest cock on your street.

Don’t know why we celebrate the plot not succeeding these days, I for one wish it was!

And ps no I’m not letting any fireworks off.

bonfire night is for prodestant royalists and has fuck all to do with me as an atheist of catholic decent who agrees with the gunpowder plot

all fireworks and bonfires can fuck off ;-)

I've tried those indoor fireworks this year.
My dog didn't like it, so I've had to put him outside.

A night for absolute nonces.

How these things haven't been banned for good is beyond the belief, given the damage it causes for both wildlife and humans.

Just an excuse for stupid parents to give their kids a bit of entertainment for half an hour.

The pub down the road has a display for half an hour, and it's literally in the middle or a housing estate, how on earth is that even legal.

My two dogs are loving it. As they sit shitting themselves in the corner of the living room

4 hours our cat been hiding below the bed. I've spent some of that time laying in floor next to her, trying to reassure her. Been giving her calming stuff in food for over a week but still terrified. Thankfully died down a little now
