First 3 games

I'm being realistic too. Lennon will not outpace Kolarov and Boateng will see to Bale. Our midfield will dominate Spuds imo.

We are stronger than Liverpool and Sunderland in all areas.

This isn't arrogant, its what our squad is now capable of

I want some of what he's smoking. Two full backs, new to the team and the Premiership against two of the best wingers in the league last season, and thats only if Bale plays at LM. If he plays at LB making runs from deep he's even harder to contain, especially with Modric playing an almost free role from the left pulling defenders out of position to make space for him.

I've said it on here before, throwing all your new players into the team straight away would be a mistake. Two new fullbacks plus a new DM in Toure would have me nervous if I were a City fan.

I can honestly see you guys winning as few as 1 point (LDL) and as many as 7 from those first 3 games (DWW). Would be a big mistake to underestimate Sunderland at the Stadium of Light.

I agree regarding the full backs which is why I think Mancini will go with just one of the new boys or even none. Not the ideal first game in the prem for a full back is it ?

As much as I don't rate Richards or Bridge at least they know what to expect from Spurs.

Toure however will start IMO .

Back to prediction :

0 points v Spurs

3 points v Liverpool

3 points v Sunderland

6 points , a solid start with a new team. Come on City!!

Slow start. 3 points. Blue Moon in meltdown. Media falling over themselves to put the boot in.

Lennon limped off injured last night so he might not even be on the pitch. Where do you get this 2 best wingers bit. Lennon is well known for a lack of final ball. I hate to point out but City have Johnson. Bale is good going forwards but defensively he's crap he'll be too busy having to stop Johnson or Silva to get forwards.

I forsee a draw.

Why should we be nervous? Teams up and down the country will be starting with new players in their teams, thats the transfer window for you and we'll be no different. The advantage we've got is that we've signed players who have a lot of ability, they won't take much time to settle in as the game of football comes naturally to them. Look at Boateng, he had hardly played at left back for Germany before the world cup but he got picked to play there and adapted to it exceptionally well all things considered

7 points - Draw a spurs, beat the dippers, beat Sunderland.

Which players are actually out against spurs? these international games are ridculous at this time!! id refuse to send them to play, surely UEFA should do something about this!
