Just googled Standard Chartered. They got hit with a 20m fine for breaking sanctions rules.

The hypocrisy of that club holds no boundaries.

As nice as it would be to see Liverpool having Abu Dhabi sponsorship, the reality is their Middle Eastern takeover will anyway lead to Standard Chartered being replaced by ‘National Bank of Kuwait’ or ‘Gulf Air’ sponsorship next season anyway.

And of course, this will be perfectly fine in their supporter's eyes….
