First, and hopefully last, "crash"

Got a bit too confident after driving for 18 months in my first car. Had never lost control of it before but one day got too cocky and decided to try and corner quickly. Back wheels went and started to skid towards the pavement while the front wheels retained traction and headed towards a car on the other side of the road. In the heat of the moment managed to steer into the skid and regained control of the car. Looking back I handled it like a pro out of pure instinct! It's taught me to never take anything for granted on the road, regardless of the weather. I do that corner multiple times a week now and always take it in second.

Spun me old Ford Anglia once back in the day. Wasn't pushing it so could not understand why I lost the back end till I checked the tyre pressure on the wheel that lost grip. Found out the twat who had recently repaired a puncture had inflated the tyre to over 50 psi to seat it on the rim and forgot to let some air out. Was like driving on a ball bearing. Lesson learned. Oh, was lucky, got away without hitting anything.

Nodded off when at the wheel on the M60 around Worsley luckily only doing about 45 as it was pretty busy, went into the back of a rather large dumpster type vehicle which fortunately had the right bumper thingy to stop cars going under, soon woke me up! Pulled over the guy was a gent well he would be as be barely felt the prang, 5k of damage to the Car I was driving and a major kick up the ass to make sure I stop at services for a rest as I had travelled up from Somerset early doors without stopping.

To top it all I was just two days into a new insurance company for my policy, that was a corker of a conversation

19 yr old lad came round a corner on my side of the road at 37 or 38 mph. Head on, great fun. Total write off of course.

Could easily have killed someone. This one was late for his jobseekers interview (genuinely).

Driving dangerously is not funny, and parents should not stick up for, accommodate and in effect encourage bastards that could go on to cause injury and death through their immaturity.
