Excluding the various u16 crap, selling trainers paper round etc, first real job was a knigo in the army, now working in a civie role at the largest Munitions depot in Europe.

Oi! I was 19 when I sold trainers. That was my future until I educated myself. And what's a knigo when it's at home?

my first job was at Smiths grocers on old church street newton heath, stacking shelves, on the checkout etc, i was 15 and 5 quid a week was a fortune.

now i run a carpet business in Denton where 5 quid a week is a fortune:)

No offence was intended to all trainer sellers out there, someone has to do otherwise we would all have clarks slip ons & flat caps.

Kingo was the nickname of a squaddie in the Kings (Manc & Scouse) Regiment prior to being merged.
