For me it was Leeds utd away around 1983/84 am I right in thinking Burridge was in goal, it was mayhemall the way back to Leeds station ..and I'm sure it was standing behind the Goal in the away end.

Ooo the swamp when we won 3-1 towards the end of 71/72.

Sat on the fence at the front of our fans and managed to touch the ball.....smell in the place was horrible. ;)

huddersfield don't know the season but would of been 1968 to 1972,i remember being sat at the front near the half way line, their pitch was curved and not level,i remember us being in the classic black and red striped shirt.

Swindon away in 1999/2000. Something like 2-0 City. I need to double check the score but we won. Locals wore United shirts...

I went to Wembley as an 8 year old in 81 but I don't think that counts as an away game. The first proper away game was Oldham away on Good Friday 1984. 2-2 it was. Coming from Moston, it wasn't really that far to go. I remember City just took over that day, we were everywhere! Remember watching in disbelief when loads of City got a ladder and started climbing up to the the seated grandstand above.. then they started ripping advertising hoardings down..I absolutely loved it! 19000 I think that day, about 15000 City at least.
