First away game.

The first proper away game was Oldham away on Good Friday 1984. 2-2 it was. Coming from Moston, it wasn't really that far to go. I remember City just took over that day, we were everywhere! Remember watching in disbelief when loads of City got a ladder and started climbing up to the the seated grandstand above.. then they started ripping advertising hoardings down..I absolutely loved it! 19000 I think that day, about 15000 City at least.

I went to that game,I would of been 19,we all went up to oldham on the bus from ashton, like you say,i remember that ladder and the ensuing madness all over the ground,we were in the stand opposite oldhams main end the chaddie end,it was kicking off the whole game in that end.on the way back we had to walk all the way back to Ashton cos there were so many blues in oldham that day.

We took the piss that day. I'll always remember it with rose tinted spectacles haa

Oldham away early 89, won 1-0 gary megson. I remember half the ground literally was city and the hundreds of bananas present too. I also remember nearly getting trampled on by police horses outside the ground trying to get on a bus back to town.

Leeds away in the league late 70's, we lost 0-2. On the way back on the coach we heard the draw for the 3rd round of the cup, Leeds away!
