Alright guys, here's the crack. I got my ticket for the Arsenal game and now due to unforseen circumstances cannot attend the game, so the train tickets I have purchased I cannot use. I have spoken to the Virgin call center in Islamabad who inform me I am unable to claim a refund so it is up to oneself to find a new home for the tickets.

As I have a mate down in London I was going to make a weekend of it, so the tickets are for the specific train. (i.e. you have to travel on that train at that time)

Train leaves Manchester Picadilly at 13.55 on April 23rd
Train leaves London Euston at 20.15 on April 25th.

These'll be ideal for anyone who wants to make a weekend of it, and they are only valid with a 16-25 Railcard.

I know I am really pissing in the wind here, but I thought I would offer them up to anyone who might be going to the game, who might be interested. I paid £45 for them, but will accept £30.

I really, really don't want these to get wasted and would much rather a City fan have them, than sell them to any Tom, Dick or Franco.

Cheers

I work on the trains as a Guard (not Virgin Trains but same rules should apply) and as far as I'm concerned you're eligible for a full refund if you take your ticket to a ticket office. The only problem I can envisage is if you bought if off a third party or ticket agency.

I may take them as I'm running the marathon that weekend and haven't sorted out my tickets yet

good luck Benarbia.Brings back the memories of running London 7 times between 96-03 with a best time of 3.18.

Not if it's an advance ticket. May be able to change it for a £10 admin fee.

£10 per journey per leg, so it would be £20. Robbing bastards.
