City 2-0 Utd 1979....great goal from Robinson. I was 7 years old and went with my older brother and dad. By the mid 80's me and my brother were hooked and would save all our paper money to go as often as possible....great days!!!

I was sure that it finished 0-0. Apparently it was 1-1. Funnily I could remember the attendance! 33002 as my mate said that if we hadn't have gone their would have been 33000 exactly.

My main memory was as a 9 year old sitting in the old Platt Lane End with Everton fans towards the front. There then was some chanting between our lot and theirs. The Everton fans charged up, our fans charged down and a good old slugg fest ensued above my head as I ducked under the old wooden seats. Welcome to english football!

Wonder if anyone out there can remember this and was involved in the ruck?

Crewe at home, second home game of the 2001-02 season. Two nil up and Crewe got two quick goals before half-time. We went on to win 5-2, Goater (2), Wanchope (2) and Pearce. Then I fell in love with City.

This was mine unfotunately I saw Paul Lake play then I saw him go :(

My first match was in 1963 against Blackpool at home and a dismal 3-0 defeat:

I originally intended to go to the previous home match against West Brom but it never happened. Just as well; that was a 5-1 defeat!

My first game: <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/History/Matches/Match.aspx?id=3666" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/History/ ... px?id=3666</a>

I have no recollection of it whatsoever, I was only 6mths old, according to my parents this is the game (only lived stonethrow from Gigg lane)

The match I can actually remember though was the same fixture 12yrs later at Maine Road <a class="postlink" href="http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/History/Matches/Match.aspx?id=4270" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://www.bluemoon-mcfc.co.uk/History/ ... px?id=4270</a>

I went to a number of games before this but I don't have memories of fixtures and so on, just certain players scoring etc....
